The Brief
For this project, JSI Ltd delivered works across two sites and multiple floors. Our scope included dot-and-dab wall finishes, drylining, plastering, and the installation of plasterboarded timber stud walls, all heavily insulated and fitted with vapour barriers. We also constructed metal-framed ceilings and suspended grid ceilings throughout the site, ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish.
Key Challenges
Working within an older building demanded daily problem-solving and close site management to navigate unforeseen structural challenges. The programme ran on a tight schedule aligned with the college’s educational calendar, and our team executed the work efficiently without ever compromising on quality.
Outcome
The project was successfully completed, and it was rewarding to see the historic building modernised to meet—and even exceed—the expectations of both the main contractor and the client.
